Veterans show happiness and pride. This is happiness to me because my dad is home safe and I am proud of him. I know that the army made him happy because it gave him a place to belong and be a part of something. I like this photo because it represents happiness. I also like the black and white because it adds to the happiness and the color would distract and take away from the happiness. The dents and scratches also add to happiness because it represents, to me, what veterans have given up for their happiness.
